Three teens dead in horror head-on crash
Three teenagers have died in a car crash in northern Queensland on Saturday. Police suspect the group were travelling in a sedan which collided head-on with another vehicle, on a major road on the outskirts of Mackay about 10.30pm. A girl and two teenage boys died at the scene. 'Absolutely devastated. A phone call I didn't want to get. My heart aches for you my cousin,' a woman posted online. The crash happened on the Mackay Ring Road in the suburb of Glenella on Saturday night. Three vehicles in total collided, with one man taken to hospital with minor leg injuries, a police spokesperson said. Police want anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. At least 151 people have died on Queensland roads in 2025.

Donnington crash driver dies as car hits fences and vehicle
A man died when the car he was driving crashed into fences and a parked collision, involving a Peugeot 107, happened on Turreff Avenue in Donnington, near Telford, shortly after midday on driver, an 83-year-old man, died as a result of the crash, which did not involve anyone else, West Mercia Police confirmed.A force spokesperson said officers were investigating the crash and urged anyone who saw it, or who had dashcam footage, to get in touch.
